The Block Party Show

Join Boston Neighborhood Network, Boston Centers for Youth & Families and Jet Blue for a summer of non-stop family fun!   Enjoy a free block party and cookout, play games and have fun with neighbors and friends, then become a BNN TV star by being featured in "The Block Party Show".   

The Block Party Show can be seen all summer long on BNN News and Information, Comcast 9 and RCN 15, Mondays at 4:00 PM.

Each week families will have the opportunity to come together for a neighborhood block party featuring a healthy meal along with family-friendly activities including face-painting, recreation games, swimming, music and resource tables with information about BCYF and other city programs.

Now in its sixth year, Boston R.O.C.K.S!!! (Recreational Opportunities for City Kids,) is a coordinated summer programming campaign aimed at connecting Boston youth with programs and activities.  Led by BCYF, the signature programs for R.O.C.K.S!!!  are free daily drop-in programs at ten locations in Boston called “Boston R.O.C.K.S Out!!!” and family-friendly cookouts at different BCYF swimming pools each week called “Boston R.O.C.K.S the Block!!!” In addition to these programs, BCYF offers over 50 summer day camps, dozens of recreations programs and many special events.  The BCYF website, www.cityofboston.gov/bcyf, contains information about all these programs or you can contact your local BCYF community center for more information.
