Join us the last Thursday of every month between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM for conversation and camaraderie as friends of BNN share their works and experiences. Support BNN by attending this monthly screening hosted by BNN’s filmmaking friends. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the films’ directors, writers, producers and/or cast members. This screening series helps to support BNN’s youth media training programs.
Boston Neighborhood Network's Youth Media Initiatives provide a safe and supportive setting to educate youth under the age of 21 years in media arts and emerging technologies for use in self-expression, communication and social change. Through strategic partnerships, community grants and individual supporters, young people from all walks of life have an opportunity to share their ideas as well as raise visibility around the value of youth voices and perspectives using BNN’s media resources.
Twelve Working Groups comprised of more than 200 practitioners, experts, community leaders and end users – will discuss and suggest policies and ideas that can advance key policy goals Mayor Martin J. Walsh laid out throughout the course of his campaign.
In addition, the transition team for Mayor Walsh will host a series of hearings open to the public, and Boston Neighborhood Network will be taping each hearing for viewing on our News and Information channel, Comcast 9 / RCN 15, and online.
